am the younger brother of the late General Asif Nawaz, Chief of Army Staff, Pakistan Army from 1991-93. I am completing a book on the Pakistan Army entitled Crossed Swords: Pakistan and its Army for Oxford University Press and also doing an entry on my brother for Oxfords historical dictionary of Pakistan. I recall that my brother served as a young officer on secondment with the Royal Green Jackets in York and would like to confirmation of the period that he was there. I know it was around 1967 or 1968, probably mid 1968. But I need to be sure.
