In my local cemetery is the grave of Lcpl Simon Chappell 1 RGJwho died in 1981 age 20. Can anyone give any details of his service? Thanks Andy

Simon was hit by a car and killed just outside Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow. I attended his funeral.

Thanks for the replies lads.  His headstone is opposite my mum's.  I always say hello and tell my kids about him when we go down.  He's at St Oswalds Church,  Kirk Sandall,  Doncaster.
