Hi ev1,my name is Stacey and i am trying to hunt down some of my dads old buddies from the 1976 Junior Riflemans Company. His name is Ian Mitchell and he was a freshed faced 16 yr old then. After my mum and dads split in 2001 all of his RGJ memories and photos, including all of his precious RGJ band concerts lp's where he was bugler and he had all the originals from the Wembley concert. Also lost were his army suitcase and pictures from his travels aboard HMS FEARLESS,which i know has broken his heart although he would never say.If anyone can help me from he Royal Green Jackets family with obvious need from the 1976 Junior Riflemans Company or any members from that time who were in the RGJ orignal band but of course anyone of any help would be greatly thanked for their help.If anyone knows of a David Joseph Cook (alias Cookie)from the same 1976 JRC based in Winchester i would be extremely grateful if you could show this to him or ask him to plzzzzzzzzzzzzz get in touch with me at my e-mail address (or anyone at all from RGJ of 76)which is as follows and all in small NOT capital letters= staceyjoycemitchell@yahoo.com ,or if not i have another address at =monkeyfoot80@hotmail.co.uk Please help me to get some of my dads best memories back for him,as i'm sure being in RGH or still serving now the memories and friends you guys gain can never be easily replaced unless by the ones who helped you get them in the first place.Hope to hear from someone soon xxxall textallall

hi stacy,

i afraid i do not remember your dad, i was in the JRC in June 1976, all that training in one of the hottest summers on record. I have  a couple of passing out parade and rifle company photos still, what month did Ian join in '76
