Saw your message on the contacts board Re: Norman Crone, Very sorry to hear he isn't well, strange that, I was thinking about him the other day. He was a true legend in Hong Kong. Who can forget the cliff climbing, the parties on the roof and the all ranks (drunken) skateboard competition? Winner ; N Crone
Give him my best wishes and I'll pass his news around.
Sorry to hear that Norman is not in good health at the moment, I remember Norman very well from the 1RGJ of the 70's and very good man he was then. If whoever is in contact with him nowadays, please pass on my best wishes for a speedy recovery and my email address.
Sorry to hear about Normans health. I knew Norman during the Battalions days in Dover. Im sure his Irish humour and charm will see him through his illness. I have fond memories of this little irish man. All the best Norm. Ackers
Knew wee Norman well, served in Ireland 82-84 and both of us were in Mortar platoon 1RGJ. Best mates with Geordie Cruddas, Dave Tyrell. Hope he gets well soon.
