Hi Brian. I remember you from Oakington Barracks, Cambridge. Do you remember the novice boxing in the hangars. We were paired up together, and you knocked me down in the first round, the ref stopped the fight. How are you, are you going to the London Bash next january, it would be great to get in touch again. Life at the moment is one long struggle as I try to clear an overdraft and credit card account, normal story, overindulged on a holiday as we do. I,m actually typing this from work now, having just booked on at 1800hrs, on til 0600hrs, all over the new year, but it pays the bills and gives me a bit of pocket money for Tommys in a few weeks. Do you ever go to the winchester reunions at all. I will be going again in July, I normally book a hotel in Andover called the Danebury. Stevo i remember you as i was in call sign; 33 Brian, at one time you and Ginge Goldbourne Willy Williams Stubbo plug etc etc, i ended up in the 2 REP French Foreign Legion, after 3 RGJ. i still bump into some of the lads Al Carne B coy and Del Baker, also Lofty Langridge A Coy also a lad called John Street who was S coy and ended up in the REP same time as me. hope you are well.

No i was REP (3 cie) from 1983 t0 88 there was John Street from 3 RGJ  and a bloke called Robinson ex 4 RGJ there was also Chris Clear but he was in 13 DBLE.  at the time there was over 200 Brits in the REP alone and the Regiment was 1,100 strong.

Alright Stevo sorry for the delay in reply, yes i am very well mukkah, i work abroad and have done for the last few years, i am married (eventually) with a  baby daughter and live near Romford in Essex.. i am away working, month on month off  rotation so not to bad?? i see a few of the lads about from time to time, i even bumped into Russ Pulleng a while back and Steve Hall (S Coy) lives down near Southend, but i havent seen him for a while. i hope you are well give my regards to Ginge, it would be good to meet up for a bevvie at some stage.
