Hi suggsy I am ex 3 rgj and I live in Chester-le-st, if you go to the reunion in July (10th) in Winchester you will meet up with guys from 1rgj from roundabout your era I came out in 76 and all the 1st guys are of a similar age to me!!!!! that live in the n/east. Stay well Don
I recently visited Winchester and the barracks god havent they changed... The parade ground was a blood pond... That was the first time I had been down there since 1989 and half expected to see all my old mates... I lived there for a year or two when got out of the army...
Are there any RGJ association in the northeast I cant find any?? I am a member of the L.I. web site and there are lads from all over the region. As I was one of the first green jackets to do training at Shrewsbury I will be attending the reunion this year for the first time since 1984 should be good.
