Hi I joined back in 1971 left in 1996 served in 2nd and 1st. Was also Bugle Major.

hi were you known as taffy? lived in Fulham? i think your dad had a stiff leg or it may have been a false leg but not sure. i joined up at the same time and we spent a weekend at each others homes in the next year or two. we both went on to 1 RGJ in celle in Germany. then back to Dover . i went on to Winchester to become an instructor and you went to hong Kong. i hope you are the right  JRT Smith. Yes it is the same Taff Smith, how are you keeping? Do you still live in Lymington, I am in Bournemouth and work in Ringwood so if you feel like catching up it would be really good to see you again after all these years.
