Hi Trigger, sounds an interesting idea. I am in contact with Steve (jess) Jessop and Dave (bones) Devereux-Jones so can let them know of any future developements. Hi Pete, hope you and family are well? Tim hope you well
Boggy, Notice that you didn't say Old mother hubbards !!! yes there are a few names from the past there. It could be a great plan. Bones will get back to you soon don't worry, hows your brother !!!!
Hi Brian, obviously a shock to your system hearing all these names from the past, so will let you off with your transgression of not saying hi. I am good thanks, working hard 'not'. Hope you and the family are well?
Hi Brain, Tim, Trigger, and the gang, do we need to bring rubber bands and paper to continue our little war, has anyone seen or heard from Martin Lile, or Westie? when is the piss up? Alan Draycott is now out and about
Hi to you all. quite a shock at how many have replied. Looking at getting a few more names together, but we could look at sometime in Mar/Apr next year. Would need your expert advice on the best location and if possible suggested dates. Has anyone heard from the likes of Jim Beazley and others who joined the AGC.
Ayup, you bunch of scrotes. Trigger, I am still in touch with Jim B. If you need a phone number or email address for him give me a shout. How many of you going to the reunion in July? I am there every year and only see a few faces. Young Derek Goody and Mitch Mitchell attend every year. See Jess on the odd occasion - apparently he bumped into Jim in Egypt - small world.
Hi Trigger. Sorry it took so long to respond. Great idea. Reunions of this nature are always welcome. Is there a duty clerk to type out company detail for venue, times and meeting place etc. My e mail is mark.eustace@yahoo.co.uk if you want to get in touch, or anyone else for that matter. Hello gang. All the best. I will be at this years reunion in Winchester again. Cheers, Mark E
Shoot, just popped into my sons friends 21st birthday round the corner from where I live, and bollox... How much do I miss being a serving solider! Grrrr!
All these kids, drunk, puking, bopping and having the time of their lifes! Ah, Celle, Caterham, Londondery, Winchster..... etc etc etc..... Oh yes, we defently need a reunion! I wanna be drunk, puking bopping and having the time of my life again! (I blame you Westbrook - never touched a drop till I met you!)
That sums up your 2 years at the Depot - drunk, bopping and puking up lol. At 11 o'clock daily everyone would be looking up the ramp from JR Company to check whether you would be on time to collect me for the dinner time sesh. Those were the days.
Do you remember the flying stereo that needed a new stylus? Benny Bennett laughed so much he nearly bought a round.
Paddington - sorry I couldn't make Dooners this year - see you at Winchester - it's your round (or should that be you are round?)
Westy. ( I presume this is Mr Westbrook, he who broke my wrist while under the influence in Cambridge, etc etc) My round at Winchester, most certainly, thats if my friend Mr Ron Frampton ( Harry ) lets me any where near the bar this year, after last years fiasco I must make sure I am on my best behaviour. Jenna will be with me again to make sure. All the best mate. See you in July.
Paddington - you bust your own wrist trying to karate chop my dashboard, I was simply the driver! I will get Harry to give you a special pass for when it's your round. Looking forward to seeing you and J. Have you given her some drawing books and crayons yet? That might stop her drawing on your head with her make-up. Now that was funny..........................
Nothing changes always blaming everyone else, especially stiching up Martin cos he would never buy a round, not forgetting the saturday mornings letter writing!!!
I wasn't blaming Paddington, just reminding him that he hit the dashboard of his own accord. I was just the completely and innocently pissed driver of the vehicle that had just careered about 20 feet over a drainage ditch on the road back from Waterbeach to Oakington! I had other things to worry about, like how the f**k do we get home now? Good job the pubs closed early in those days, that's all I can say.
Don't mention the letter writing, you biff, that's all secret.
You at Winch this year? We'll look after you (he he he........)
Be afraid, be very afraid! The last person Westy looked after that I can remember was John Fanning when we were all down Exeter! Westy and I were only everso slightly the worse for wear when we bumped into Fanning back at the Hotel... anyway to cut a long story short, Fannings head bounced off every step and wall on the way up to the rooms shortly after his early call had been arranged! You remember that night Westy?
I don't remember that night in particular. John Fanning (RIP) - there's a name from the past. I don't remember him being there at all, shameful really. I do remember you wiping your sarnies up the train window on the way down to Exeter though, AND to my eternal shame, dragging me out to watch Grease!!!! It had been just released, if you remember. I can't believe how we managed to scrape through that course and getting the spec qual 'Unit Docs Clerk'. Them were the days.
If this 'Shiney Arse' reunion ever occurrs, it promises to be a good giggle.
Yes I will be attending at Winchester this year, Balllistic's I can remember your days as a punk!!!, as for you Westy secrets, we can write a book on you!!, as anyone seen or heard from Cpl C Prince (Man at C&A), if this reunion does kick off good help the town when we arrive.
