I served with the Ox and Bucks during Nastional Service from 1956 to 1958.
My first posting was to Osnabruik Germany in 1956 and I later transferred to the Regimental Band and served in Cyprus.
I stay in Cyprus quite a few months o the year, and was proud to attend the unveiling of the new memorial in Kyrenia which remembers those that were killed here during the EOKA campaign.
The memorial contains the names of all those that fell, by Regiment and I saw that under the Ox and Bucks badge was one Rifleman O'connor.
He and I shared a barrack room whilst serving in Osnabruik in 1956, and by chance I have discovered a photograph of him and others.
I have beentrying to find whereabouts of any of his family who might like to have a copy of the photograph which I would be pleased to pass on.
I do not have internet capability but can be contacted via a friend on;  royo4892@hotmail.com
I would like to hear from any other ex Ox and Bucks from that era who might remember me.
