Would anyone have any information with regards to Rifleman Richard O'Hara, # 24253718, last known information was in 1972, about 18yrs old, where he was posted at Horseshoe Barracks, Shoeburyness, Essex.
Richard was in Londonderry with the 2nd battalion Sherwood Foresters stationed at victoria car park strand road1972. He then served with the Blues & Royals in Magherafelt Northern Ireland until he and others returned to shoesburyness.
The 3rd Royal Green Jackets went to Northern Ireland June 1972, I remember him serving in the broadway area of the Falls Road.
In September/October that year he was posted to 2nd Royal Green Jackets at Bellykelly later with the MRF know nothing more.
