Hi Bob You played for a long time but that's easy playing in Goal, i would still put the jackets or jerseys down for goal posts i do get the urge for a game when i smell the grass in the open area's. Now you play Golf thats a more sensible game to play, Am i allowed to show off, well i'm going to anyway, I am the holder of the Riflemans Shield for 2010 the tournament was held at the East Herts Golf Club, in September Don't ask me how i did it i must have had a good day The Tournament is put on by the London Branch each year sometimes twice

Bob I didn't feel like a Bandit, when my name was called to receive the Rifleman Shield, i looked more like a Rabbit caught in headlights, i play off 25 & on the day i played to my handicap, (although trying to play Golf is normally my handicap) the tournament is over 72 holes there are two competitions the first nine holes is for the Rifleman Shield, then there is lunch followed by 18 holes for the Presidents Cup, Blimey by the time we got to the second nine of the 18 holes i was shattered, i was looking to sit down at every Tee, & on the Fairways, But it was a smashing day & a lovely Golf Course, i don't play in competitions like that, i play with three others once a week starting from the Spring onwards
hi mick, ha ha i know the feeling i played at east sussex nat 18 in the mornin a meal and a beer then 18 in the afternoon, walk it all the way and carried ha ha fit as a butchers dog. i play all the year round when i can, we have a compertion at my club in the spring in the evenings front 9 one week back 9 following week off the whites, won that last year good fun beer and grub. we will have to get together for a game mate.
