Ere BUTLER - get yer facts right ehhh ehhh and get back on them buses and drive me around ehhh ehhh!

1 Green Jackets (43rd & 2nd) went from Warminster Demonstration Battalion to Penang on Troop Ship 'Nevassa' and arrived in 1962. Brunei broke out in December 1962 on old GSM. New GSM with Borneo, Malay Peninsilar from 1962 til end of Indonesian Confrontation in 1966. 1 Green Jackets posted to Berlin after Malaya and Borneo, 2 Green Jackets took over from 1GJ end of 1965!

Like the 'other' Regiments of the Green Jacket Brigade, they became 'Royal Green Jackets' on 1st January 1966!
