Hi guys,

Been away awhile, been too angered.gif, My mum had the police round recently, they had re-opened my dads case fileno... What awaste of time. All it did was open old wounds & shes not been the same since. In fact, non of us have. I still think that unlawful killing verdict was f****** bollocks. It was pure, premeditated murder.

If any you guys who where there would like to read said document, I will Scan My copy & E-mail to an Individual E-mail.

I'm still not up to scratch with Interweb stuff, (it seems someone liked My sarcastic amalgamation (Internet, Website) so much they started to use it...... yep, I coined that phrase at the jobcenter after, well, If You Know Me ,You Know.)

Last not least, I'm still after any photos that have BOB snr or B-coy, 1RGJ or Bugles 1RG, Cyprus, Borneo etc. The Reason Is, just after said Police Visit, My Mum Destroyed all Her Photo Albums.. I think She maybe has The Cake Cutting.. and I have Dad (back of his head,Maybe?)with His German sheppard! , Borneo helicopter.

p.s. once again, stories of My suicide, Drug Overdose etc probably sent by the same TROLLs, that made My Army Life half as good as it should have been....

And Charlie, You still owe me 90 quid from Bulford, After Belize..

And I owe You a punchfurious.gif in the gob for leaving Me strandedbuggered.gif at Bulfordconfused.gifdisbelief.gif 2 days later.

P.s2 for those at Acoy Auchnacloy, 2sect Remember - B.S.B.wink which is now B.S.S.B

p.p.s.3 you can Contact me at k.tricker@ntlworld.com which is My Girlfriends e-mail- P.s. if I get Troll-ed again, I'll report it, trace it and waste it.....

Bob,

I knew your Dad. A smashing chap much respected and missed by his comrades and mates. Many of us on here refuse to let memories of Bob fade and we will never forget or forgive.

Part of me wants to see your dad's murderers brought to justice, however long it takes and whatever the cost. But I realise there will be a price to pay for that. You and your mum and all your family, will be put through an ordeal you probably all struggled hard to come to terms with. And may not wish to go through again.

I think everyone would understand and support you and your mum in whatever you all wanted.

Your Dad's memory lives on through the Bankier Cane, given to the top student on JNCO Cadres, and he would have been very proud indeed, to know you followed in his footsteps.

Hi Bob

Thanks for Reminding us about Your Dad   and Your Mum.

I agree with Sandy - I knew your Dad and Mum   and I often think back to that day in the Markets -  wish we (members of the Battalion) could have got TO him sooner.

Your Dad remains in the Memories of all men and families of 1RGJ who was serving with your Dad  -  Stay Proud   I know I am proud of what your dad stood for.

Sorry I don't have any Photo's maybe Plug Darvill will read this he might have some

Ray and Sue Smith ex 1RGJ

Bob, I knew your Dad from the day we signed on at the recruiting office in Birmingham, travelled down to Winchester together and done our training at what was then the Upper Barracks. This was in May 1961 and it was the start of our boy's service and friendship that lasted until I went to Cyprus with the RB Band and your Dad went to the 43rd & 52nd Bugles. There will be a final reckoning,if not in this life then in the next. Here's to his memory.

Hiya Bob

I knew your Dad very well having been on Boy's Service with him as a Bugler and then afterwards in the Regiment.   I feel so very sorry for your whole family that this is being brought up after all this time.

I find this quite sick after 41 years - they already know who killed Bob and all this can do nothing more than cause anguish to the Bankier family who have suffered enough!

A knock on the door for something that happened 41yrs ago is not something I would want!

RIP Corporal Bob Bankier 1st Bn The Royal Green Jackets - murdered by Cowardly IRA Scum 22nd May 1971!
