Hello Parkie - what a blast from the past. Just dug out the old Pln photo - I think our pln commander was Lt Nicholson of the RB. Some of the other lads were Roy (Paddy) Somers, Tony Harvey, Dennis Camp and I think another PO called Ross-Brown. I've also got some photos of us outside the Snake Temple in Penang and in the cookhouse on Christmas Day 1966. I moved back to Muenster with my wife Anneliese 2 1/2 years ago - Oxford Bks hasn't changed much but all around it has been built up now. If you drop me a line on geoffbye@t-online.de I can send you the photos if you haven't got them and we can have a natter.

Regards to you old mate,

Geoff

Hello Parkie - thanks for the reply. Glad to hear that Madge is recovering ok from her op. We lived in the north-east (Eaglescliffe near Stockton-on-Tees) for 35 years before we moved back to Germany in Sep 2010 and know the area around Scarborough pretty well - North York Moors etc.

Pete, without your e-mail address or postal address the only way I can send you the photos is to try and put them on the Regt Association's photo website. I'll try that in the next couple of days but I'm not the world's greatest on a computer. If you want to you can ring me on 0049 2534 9774015 or e-mail me at the address on my earlier message.

Regards mate, Geoff
