I am ex Army Air Corps and wanting to find an old friend of mine who was a Royal Green Jacket.
He did his basic in Winchester at the new John Moore barracks in 1986 and was in Pegasus platoon. I fought him in the 'inter company' boxing competition but then lost touch after he was posted (to 1 RGJ I think and off to Osnabrook?).
His name is Russell Stacey, spoke with an American accent due to fact he had dual nationality and his dad was a spam airforce type, grew up in America.
Any info if any of you chaps know know him would be gratefully received. He was a top bloke (hit very hard as well), would love to catch up with him.
Did you ever find him? because my husband has been looking for him for the past couple of years to meet up for a Gulf War reunion. Yes he went to 1RGJ in Osnabruck and then he went to Dover.
