Hi my name is miranda and I'm trying to locate my dad. 

The only information I have of him is a nickname and details on a birth certificate so here goes ..... 

Gary David Stone aka Rocky 

Rifleman Royal Green Jackets 

No - 24298027

He was born in Liverpool but based at Tidworth when I was born in 1986 

Any information will be greatly appreciated

Hi      Can you put a little bit more info as to the Years that He served

As you say you was born 86 in Tidworth than He will have been with 1 RGJ

I am sure when you put that info than some one will know

Hi. If your dads army number is correct then he would have joined up in 1972, about September time as the 2429 at the start of his number was issued then, (hope that makes sense).  1 RGJ was at Tidworth at this time before moving to Osnabruck in Germany. I can not say that I remember your dad but if I can help in any way please let me know

I have very little detail as we have been estranged since I was 5 yrs old! We think he suffered from post traumatic stress he was at regents park when the bandstand was blown up and was part of the clean up operation in the Falklands
