Read some of the messages some of the old farts of the 80's had written,so I thought I'd add my name to the list. Joined the 2nd, in Febuary 80 (just in time for the States) and joined 2Plt, in Tidders. My Sect Comd was Doc Savage, also there was Barky Barkworth, Wally Wall, and Mick Bullivant. Happy days in Minden with the Yellow Hanbags at 10DM's a throw then down to the Dancing Star at the weekend to drink more bad head juice. Stayed with A Coy until after the first tour of Belfast, and then went to Mortar Plt, where I was the NIG all over again. More happy days as a drop short with Tommy Lyons, Pete Deville, Fred Cowan, and Gerry Copp and the old sweats of the day Spike Goldsmith Nobby Noble and 'Bing' Crosby. Anyone fancies getting in touch get me on a_fishy@yahoo.co.uk See yer.
