I've just been reading through this Board (as you do) and came across "Yakka" Machin's query ref the RGJ Medal. Can anyone enlighten me on this?
(Now for the one that's really got up my nose!)..The Pingat Jasa Malaysia Medal. I applied for this (through The National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association) in April of this year and haven't heard a word since. Are there any other Riflemen out there in the same predicament? If so, what I'm suggesting is we get a nominal roll made up and send it off to whoever at the M.O.D. is dealing with the Malaysian Government. Let's see if that works. All comments gratefully received.
