I was in the Royal Canadian Signals attached to 1 SSM Bty RCA in Fort Prince of Wales in Deilinghofen above Hemer in 1964-69.

I am trying to contact a Mr J White who married Ute Stimpf  from Deilinghofen (that is one name I'm sure of). He was 3RGJ  and I have pictures of them at the Schwerte Haupbhanhof when they were on their way back to Celle after getting married. (Click HERE).

Since then we have lost contact except for one brief encounter in 1972 Easter weekend in Deilinghofen when I was up for a week end from Lahr and I saw Ute and her son who were staying in the village while her husband was doing a tour in N.I.

In the attached pictures I'm the good looken fella in the white top. And of course when you saw the young lad in the red top you knew immediately that it could only be a Royal Green Jacket man and of course the young lady is Ute.

I very much appreciate any assistance you can give to me.

Hi Ross - not me I am afraid - I joined 3 RGJ on its re-formation at Shoeburyness - having been with 1 RGJ in Celle from 70-72.    The chap you are looking for must have been with the original 3RGJ who were in Celle around the time you mention (i.e., 68)    Cheers, James

Thanks James. Hopefuly some body will come along that recognizes him or his wife. He was with the 3rd Btn in Iserlohn prior to it being posted to Celle.
