just finished reading Swift and Bold a portrait of the royal green jackets 1966-2007 i must say it is a fantastic book and i was unable to put it down,it really is an exellent read and it was nice to see so many familiar faces,i particulaly enjoyed the piece concerning OUR MASCOT.....CHARLIE..... the pig and remember it squealing oncontrolaby as we were due to march onto the Maefeld in Berlin for the queens birthday parade 1976 he didnt march on with us however he was just there to poke a bit of fun at the paras and taffy,s mascots ie taffy the goat and bruneval  the     shetland pony god it was hot that day   ..........................they were the days hey!!!!!
