The best, and the greatest, Bugle Major our Regiment has ever known. Mind you, I would quake when he shouted "Lyons, what have you done to your Bugle NOW?". Get well Colin. Everyone you know and love is praying for you.
Hi Drumy, Remember me in Berlin, we share a room in the Sgt's Mess. Many a time, after a few drinksin the mess, the only way I could find my way to our room, was to follow the sound of the Reginental music comming from your radiogram, day or night!! you may remember once I once almost blew up your best boots!! You are in our thoughts mucker, keep fighting. 'High on the Hill'

It is sad news indeed. I served under Bugle Major Green from 1979 to 1984. Do you have or know of any pictures of him. It would be good to have him remembered this way.
Also do you have any news of Warrant officer East, the bugle majors good friend for many years ?
Hello Charles. Funnily enough, I've just contacted George East on Forces Reunited. I'll let you know how he replies. As an ex Bugler, are you going to the Band and Bugles Reunion at the Conservative Club, Winchester on 9th October at 1200 hrs? If so, I'll see you there.
