One of my mentors was a Colour Sergeant in the Royal Green Jackets.
When he came to the US he ended up here without any of his uniform items, and he works at a Military College. Myself and my fellow Lieutenants are tired of Cadets disrespecting him behind his back, claiming that he never served in the Military.
As of right now he wears an American uniform with no devices because he doesn't have any awards from the US Army.
I would like to find a set of fatigues and a beret for him, but I have no idea where to look or what he needs to be in regulation.
If this forum is not the proper place for such an interrogative, then please direct me to someone who can answer my question.
Why not give his Name, dates that he served, which Battalion he served in and if possible his number. If you have the above information then someone on here will recognise him and point you in the right direction and also inform you on how to obtain his medals, badges and rank badges etc.
Yeeha! Cry of the VULKERIE! Dan da la dan dan, dan da la dan dan, dan da la dan an, dan da la dan etc etc etc ....................................
My apologies 2lt Innes - English humour don't you know! p.s. we have a Senior Officer who is a former Green Jacket whose name is Innes - any relation .......................................?
Agree 100% with former 'poste' - number, name, dates served, rank, which Battalion etc very important if this is genuine posting!
