To the anonymous poster who insulted my friend. Your posting was taken down by DWM but I am told by others that it stayed up for about three hours before he noticed it. He cannot be everywhere at once, so I am sure that others must have read it, as I am just as sure that you will read this at some stage.
You should know that your IP address is known and that your computer/phone , wherever you use it, has something called a MAC (Machine Access Code) which is unique to the actual machine. There is software that can find you and it will.
All of the information that you posted was already known by the individual's friends but we don't judge him by past transgressions that he has paid for in full.

I can assure you all that the two identical postings were made by someone who has mental health issues and in alcohol "blackout" and was done in on two threads which were unviewed for 2 and 8 years and in relation to really historic things and where the poster had trouble at that point telling the difference.
I can also promise you that as soon as the poster realised this had happened (within hours) then the poster made sure it was reported to the association and was appalled that it had happened. On the poster's behalf Webmaster and the Association were asked to remove both identical posts and you can check with the Association staff to confirm that contact was made with them immediately regarding this.
No-one saw the posts apart from the poster and the Association web team and the view count confirms this. The intent of immediate contact was to ensure that posts were not accessed and that no disrespect or offence was caused to the Association or its members.
It remains only to offer a sincere apology and hope that you will accept that people make mistakes when ill and that everyone deserves a chance to get "square with the house".
