hi all, just wondering if anyone remembers serving with my Dad, Stan Martin, 2RGJ I believe. Don't know platoon I'm afraid. He always said it was the best days of his life. I think he was in from 70 - 79. Definitely in Berlin in 1976 where I was born... Interested to know what he was like back then and if he was happy. He was in the bugles and insisted on playing it at 2 in the morning when he was worse for wear .... Thanks in advance
Hi Bill thanks for the reply, and yes we lived in seeburger strasse and Vera is my mum. I went back to Berlin for my 30th and it looks the same really. The barracks are still there but used as business premises, the flats are all there still but private housing now. i ll ask them about you Bill I'm sure they'll remember you. Thanks again
