Hi, I was with 3RGJ in 72, I think Ian Morrell was killed near Broadway by a sniper on top of the bakery building on the Falls. I am writing a book about the early years in NI and would be interested if you had any recollections on the period. Best regards, James
Ian was shot in Beachmount Ave !!!!!!!!! The bakery was also in Beachmount Ave it was called Kennedys. The gunman was between the bakery and the world war 2 prefabs, small laneway that brought you out to the bottom of Mica Drive.
