im trying to find my father, James Brendan Behan, born 57/58 in Ireland. he served with the 3rd Battalion RGJ Regiment during the 80s and was assigned to the 14th Intelligence.
He married Sonya Veronica Ryan in 1985 (he was 25 at the time) in Warminster.
His dog tag number was: 24551291
he was last seen in the Colchester, Essex area in 1991/92/93 (are cant be exa) however some recent information which was passed to me by one of the last people to have seen him alive, stated that he was aggressively being recruited my a high profile intelligence agency for his skills as a sniper during his exploits/tours in Ireland.
The information I have been given is darker and more sinister than I would like to believe, safe to say that he was on the run from them as he did not wish to accept their offer of recruitment.
He disappeared suddenly during this time and I have requested from the MOD any information pertaining to his whereabout, pension ot death certificate.
