Hi


Chris McDonald here (ex 3RGJ) I would like to ctach up with a few of the guys I went through Depot with (Tobruk Platoon- July 84)


Does anyone know where former Rfn Horncastle (I think he went to 2 RGJ) & Rfn Bills (3RGJ)


I have also lost the email for Bob Newman, and Bill Lindfield MM.

hi, i went throgh tobruk platoon in 84 cpl drake was my section commander, i won signal prize by cheating!! i remember cpl neumann as being a right bastard don't recognise those names and i went to 3rgj with rfn coffee

Hi there, I myself was in the 1984 intake Tobruk PL But damaged my right knee in basic training resulting in me being held back "Holdies" I have a photograph of our intake and will dig it out.

My name is Daron Vague and I was going to go to 3Rgj but after going to Hereford for operation had to be released and that killed me not being to go on with something I had always dreamed of as a boy "Father was in 3Li" Never really accepted it after that.

I think our intake was one of the last to go through Peninsular Barracks before moving out to the new training depot. Any way I will scan and post it up.

Ha ha ha it's Newman and I was a bastard for a reason, glad your well it's so ong ago now and of course I went to 3RGJ at the end of the Celle tour and moved to Colchester
